Compared with gasoline engine, the thermal efficiency of diesel engine is 30% higher, and the greenhouse effect produced by diesel engine is 45% lower than that of gasoline. However, the harmful particles emitted by diesel engine after combustion are too large, which requires strict emission regulations to regulate and supervise the exhaust emission of diesel engine. On july1,2013, the national environmental protection administration has officially implemented the "National IV" emission standard. At present, Beijing, Guangdong, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shenzhen and other provinces and cities have fully implemented it. Under such a situation, both commercial vehicle, non road mobile machinery, engine manufacturers and professional enterprises of emission technology need to increase the practical application of emission technology, Lay a solid foundation for the full implementation of "National IV" emissions in 2014.
In terms of technology, the industry experts present also said that no matter what aspect is considered, SCR technology is the mainstream technology for IV emission of diesel engine in China. Due to its good power, it can meet the requirements of strict emission standards, and has low requirements on the cooling system and is not easy to be blocked. At present, medium and heavy trucks, buses and public transport vehicles generally adopt the SCR technical route. However, the SCR system needs to add tail gas reductant in the tail gas emission system to convert the nitrogen oxide in the tail gas into nitrogen and water. The reductant here is AdBlue aqueous solution of a specific concentration, This means that the automotive AdBlue solution will become a consumable with the same properties as diesel.
The vehicle AdBlue national standard, namely the diesel engine NOx reductant urea aqueous solution, was implemented on July 1st, 2013. The standard was discussed and formulated by Jiangsu kelansu gas vehicle environmental protection technology Co., Ltd. and is the first national standard on vehicle urea solution products in China. The performance indexes are completely consistent with ISO international standards and German DIN standards. The implementation of this standard provides a legal basis for Chinese urea production enterprises in the production, testing, storage and other aspects of vehicle urea.
